Far from the madding crowd by Thomas Harding seems to be the inspiration for the lovely cottage were the action is been set. Come and meet this group of writers working really hard on literature (somehow they manage to forget the famous ‘one percent inspiration, 99 percent perspiration’) shocked by the turning up of Tamara Drewe – once the ugly duck, now changed into a sexy and talented swan.

Not certainly the best film by the British movie maker Stephen Frears , well remembered by movies such as My Beautiful Laundrette, it is worth, though, not to miss this hilarious commedy.

  1. The delicious eccentricity of the characters and the vertiginous development of this hilarious and witty screenplay give us memorable moments of fun.

Special mention for the two gossip, sassy and crazy teenager, thread for Tamara´s affairs.

    Surely, a film worth seeing.
